The 9:00am Sunday Service

The 9am Sunday service

This service, held in the church, is the more traditional of the two, although it is far from stuffy.

The service follows the New Zealand Prayer Book (usually starting on page 404) and uses music mainly from the mid 1970's onwards, with the occasional A & M thrown in.

The words are displayed on an OHP screen, and there is a music group (piano, double bass, with support from the organ when appropriate) with singers to lead.

Whilst the congregation tends to be older than that at 10:30, there are some younger people who prefer this kind of service.
